• Day 105: Dog falls down 100ft well but is now…well.

    Dec 30th

Man falls down well whilst taking a slash and finds dog waiting for him.

This one not from me but from Terry just before xmas, one of the new managers of the ARK who is doing incredible work out there.

Terry helped rescue a dog (they had thought there was a puppy down there too but there was only a grown dog in the end) who had spent a number of days down a well.

The dog was found after a bloke also fell down the well (!!!) after her was taking a pee and got startled by some women and jumped back and down the hole – as you do. He landed, broke his arm and was like – oh, there’s a dog down here too.

Here is the opening video – unfortunately Terry ran out of juice to catch the second half but the dog was rescued by some locals is now fine as can be seen here.

The dog that fell down the well and is now remarkably fine. Emma is giving him water.

The hole is now covered up just in time for the locals to have a babies christmas tea-party right next to it. ]

Joke. But seriously, why on earth have unprotected holes in the ground???

Avis has now left India for a well-earned break for a few months whilst Terry, and his wife, Emma, take over. They are cast in the same mould as Avis – honest, caring and inspiring people. Keep up the great work you two!

    1. I’m glad the dog was found and rescued. Well done!

Yes, I agree….why unprotected holes, especially that deep?! Scary!
